I’m Mary — a web designer, writer, and marketing strategist with over a decade of experience helping businesses build meaningful online presences. My background spans digital design, brand storytelling, and professional writing for one of BC’s largest public-sector organizations.

Beacon Studio
The name Beacon came from a simple but powerful idea: the right design doesn’t just look good. It guides.
A beacon is a source of light, direction, and clarity — everything a strong social presence and website should offer.
Located on the serene Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada, I started Beacon Studio because I saw too many industry leaders doing meaningful work but struggling to reflect that online. Their websites felt vague or scattered. They didn’t match the level of trust and credibility the work deserved.
My role is to bring structure and intention. I help clients cut through the noise, clarify their message, and build an online presence that leads with confidence.
